Welcome to St. James Episcopal Church

A Historic Church with a New Spirit of Renewal

At St. James, we’re building more than a congregation—we’re nurturing a spiritual community rooted in tradition, open to all, and alive with possibility. Whether you’re a lifelong Episcopalian or exploring faith for the first time, you are truly welcome here.

Worship That Grounds and Uplifts

We offer traditional Episcopal liturgy that’s rich, reverent, and designed to speak to the modern soul. Our services provide space for reflection, beauty, and connection with the sacred.

Preaching That Moves from Pulpit to Daily Life

Fr. Rian’s sermons are more than words. They’re a call to live differently.
Drawing from scripture, poetry, and everyday experience, his preaching is practical, passionate, and often surprising.

Our Current Mission: A Church Rebuilt by Grace

After Hurricane Michael, St. James went years without a priest. Now, with the arrival of The Rev. Dr. Rian Adams, his wife Amber, and their son Brody, we are writing a new chapter.

Our mission is clear: to reinvigorate this parish, serve our community, and offer a spiritual home for all who seek one—locals, snowbirds, and visitors alike.
