Lent & Eastertide Bible Study

Join us as we travel through the books of Luke & Acts.
Please check the Daily Scripture page for readings.

This is a marvelous study and you are encouraged to jump in at any point;
having been with it from the beginning is not necessary.

Wednesdays at 12:00 PM beginning February 21
Bring your own brown bag lunch

We wish you the hospitality of the Lord in worship and in fellowship. You are welcome to join us!

We are a traditional Episcopal congregation in the Anglo-Catholic theology where all are invited to be among us worshipping the Lord God of Hosts who calls us each by name into Covenant with Him.

We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ calls us out of chaos into peace and fulfillment and are called to be the light of Christ in the world. Through our worship, service, and outreach, St. James provides the one place where we can find peace amidst an otherwise chaotic world.

Whether you are a visitor, new-comer to the area, or a life-long resident, St. James welcomes you with open arms. Located on Garrison Ave in Port St. Joe, we are an easy drive from the beach areas of Mexico Beach, St. Joe Beach, Cape San Blas, and Indian Pass.

The Collect

O God, who for our redemption gave your only-begotten Son to the death of the cross, and by his glorious resurrection delivered us from the power of our enemy: Grant us so to die daily to sin, that we may evermore live with him in the joy of his resurrection; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
